A full hour of therapeutic massage with a spa twist. This is our signature massage treatment. Of course we massage your full body and work out all the kinks, but we also pamper you a little bit. The entire body receives a dry brushing before we massage each body part. Then the pampering comes in: Includes wrapping the feet in hot moist towels followed by a mini foot reflexology treatment. Little Sunflower Massage

Sunflower Aromatherapy Massage
Our signature Aromatherapy Massage includes the use essential oils to help balance the body, mind and spirit. In the treatment you will choose one of four aromablends to use through your massage. The four aromablends are based on the four elements of nature. Earth is grounding, Fire is stimulating, Air brings clarity and Water helps to balance. Yours senses will be tantalized through the massage with hot steam towel on the face as well as vaporizing inhalation of essential oils.

Ashiatsu Massage
Ashiatsu, (ashi means foot and atsu means pressure). Ahh…shiatsu Bar Therapy is a trademarked form of Ashiatsu Bar Therapy. It is based on an ancient ayurvedic practice of Chavutti Thirummal. It combines Swedish, Myofascial, and compression techniques that are applied to the body with the therapist’s feet. Ashiatsu is an art, where the feet glide effortlessly over the contours of the client’s body. Special ashiatsu cream facilitates the hypnotic movements of the routine.The pressure can be as light as a swedish massage or the deepest massage a therapist can give.

Face, Hands and Feet Bliss
This treatment is a 45 min. treatment where we only focus on your face, hands and feet. We scrub, and wash your tired feet then wrap them in hot aromatherapy towels and perform reflexology on your face, feet and hands. Your face, hands and feet will smile.

Scalp, Neck and Face Treatment
If you are prone to headaches or just would like to release a lot of tension that most people hold in there scalp, neck and face this is a wonderful treatment that will put you to sleep. The therapist massages your face using specific stress relieving pressure point massage techniques. Then she will work out any kinks in your neck and end with a “put you to sleep” scalp massage, just like the ones that your mom gave you when you were a little kid. Did you know: Seventy percent (70%) of your nervous system is in your head? Hair pulling scalp massage activates neural pathways to the brain, stimulating unused brain cells, and awakening cellular intelligence. This full body massage is performed with our special pregnancy table that will allow the mother-to-be to lay on your stomach while her and baby are safely supported. Our policy is to perform massage only in the 2nd and 3rd Tri-mester, for the safety of you and your baby, we will not massage in the 1st Tri-mester!

Lymphatic Massage
The lymphatic system is essential as the body’s drainage system for cleansing and filtering out of bacteria and toxins. Congested lymph pathways can cause soreness, aches, pains and flu-like symptoms. Lymphatic massage helps to unclog the lymph system. Beginning in a clockwise motion on the body, the lymph system is manually cleansed. Best performed in a series of six, or as part of a full detoxification program, this form of massage helps the body to heal itself from many common maladies. As with most massage, it is vital to drink lots of water after a lymphatic massage. Benefits: Many cases of disharmony on the body and mind are due to an exhausted lymph system. Thai Fusion Massage
Traditional Thai massage and holistic massage techniques fuse together in this unique therapy creating a union of different massage styles used in the Eastern and Western world. Thai fusion massage is deeply relaxing and has a calming effect on the body and mind. Aromatic scents of the east are fused with oils that are applied to the body using the various massage techniques to help alleviate muscular pain or tension. Head and scalp massage is said to balance every system in the body, and the benefits associated with it make up a lengthy list. Topping that list is its ability to combat stress and anxiety and help us find balance.
The Sunflower Spa’s holistic approach to balancing your body, mind and spirit starts with your scalp. The customized treatment begins with an aroma-therapeutic massage to the neck, face, arms and hands relieving tension. The therapist applies the Botanical Hair & Scalp Therapy oil to the scalp and hair, which will improve the hair’s condition by up to 71%. Aromatherapy hot steam towels are applied to the hair and scalp for extra relaxation. Following the one-hour massage service you will continue your stress relief in our exclusive steam shower. The steam shower will infuse you into deeper relaxation and will benefit your whole body as well as your hair.
