Betty has been with the Sunflower
Spa from the beginning. Betty
does all of our artwork, everything
from digital to paint, she is
very talented. Betty teaches
Yoga and Tai Chi at the Sunflower
Spa. Her education background
started at graphics school in
Milwaukee, WI in 1966, and she
then graduated from Graphic/Design
school in Minneapolis in 1969.
She furthered her art education
at Fox Valley Tech and then
she fell in love with teaching
a whole different field. She
is now a Certified Yogafit instructor
and Certified as Yang Style
Tai Chi Fundamentals instructor
through the Madison's Tai Chi
Center. She teaches daily as
the Sunflower Spa.
When Betty is not teaching she
is learning or pursuing her
passion in the arts. Betty's
philosophy on life is "If you
can discover the one thing that
makes your life worthwhile and
gives you personal satisfaction
then you are forever rich. What
makes me tick: Challenges which
force me to do the things I
know I can and finding the strength
to follow through with them."
Betty wants to retire in Wisconsin
summers and following the sun
in winter to warmer places.
And continuing to teach art,
yoga and Tai Chi.
