What if I want to come in and check the Sunflower Spa out?
We welcome you to come for a Sunflower Spa tour Monday- Friday from 9 AM – 7 PM and on Saturday 9 AM – 4 PM. Our Spa Concierge will be here to show you around and provide you will any answers you may have. Please stop in, we would love to see you!
What if I just want to buy products?
Come on in! We carry Aveda line and Dermalogica, as well as some other boutique gifts. Our Spa Concierge can help you shop between the hours 9 AM – 8 PM Monday – Friday and Saturdays 9 AM – 4 PM.
How do I make a spa appointment?
The Sunflower Spa has proven to be an extremely popular place. As such, we recommend that you make your spa reservations well in advance of your arrival. The Sunflower Spa is typically very busy on weekends as well as many weekdays, so it may be it pays to plan ahead. Don’t hesitate to call us on that day, just to see if we have an appointment available, you may luck out. We do not accept walk – in appointments.

All spa services are subject to availability. Prices and service selections are subject to change without notice.
How early should I arrive for my spa services?
Please check in at the spa reception desk 15 minutes prior to your first scheduled appointment. Unfortunately, late arrivals may not receive an extension of scheduled treatments, so as not to inconvenience other spa guests. To begin your relaxation, we recommend use of the showers, steam, and inhalation room prior to your services (for an additions $10 to any service).
Can I just walk- in and get a service you offer?
We do not accept walk-ins, we are by appointment only for services. We welcome you to stop by and book your appointment browse our retail or receive a tour from one of our Spa Concierge’s.
What do I when I get to the spa?
When you arrive please check in with our Spa Concierge. There is a coat rack where we will take your jacket and place it in the lobby or you can also bring it with you into the room where you will be receiving your treatment. We do ask that you remove your shoes and slip on our cozy Zendals during your visit. If you have not been to the spa before we ask that you fill our our Client Health History Form. Please use the bathroom while you are waiting for your therapist and enjoy a glass of water and browse our retail area.
What if someone is coming with me, but does not have a service?
If someone are coming with someone and they do not have a service, they can wait in our relaxation lobby. There they can relax, read and sip on some water. Otherwise, we recommend they get a service with you! We welcome your guest to relax while you are in service.
What time does The Spa open?
Spa services are available daily beginning at 9 AM. We are open until the last appointment is finished, latest is 9 PM.
What should I bring to The Spa?
Yourself! If you are using our steam shower we will provide, sandals, robes, hair dryer, and everything else you will need.
What do I wear during the massage?
You will be asked to undress to your comfort. We will never compromise your modesty. Our Spa Therapists are professionals and will only expose the portion of your body that is being treated at the time.
What if I am receiving the Fake Bake or Body Contour Wrap as a service — what should I wear?
Please bring your swimming suit with you for these services.
What if i am coming in with my friend can we be in the same room?
We have friends come in all the time to relax together, I would suggest our Treatments Together. That way the both of you will be in the same room right next to each other.
What if I am using the Steam Shower or Sauna?
The Sunflower Spa provides everything you will need to shower and style your hair. In the shower, we will provide, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, towel, and sandals. Since we carry Aveda haircare, skincare, bodycare products, you will have every product at your fingertips, just ask our Spa Concierge and they will get you whatever you need to use. In the shower room we provide a hair dryer, comb, curling iron, everything you would need. I would suggest to bring your own make-up. I would highly suggest adding on the Steam Shower or Sauna to your appointment.
Do I need to tip the Spa Therapists?
A tip of 15 -20% is recommended for all services. The tip will be distributed to the Spa Therapists who served you during your Spa experience.
What do I do if I need to cancel my appointment?
To ensure our clients do not miss their relaxation time the Sunflower Spa reminds our clients of their appointments by a reminder phone call and email.
The Sunflower Spa asks that you please call the spa within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment time to cancel or reschedule your appointment with us. This allows us to fill that time that you could not make and ensure other clients can book with us which in return retains the therapists our clients love.
Please notify The Spa a minimum of 24 hours in advance should you need to cancel or re-schedule to avoid a full charge for the service.
All no-show appointments will be charged at full value.
If you have booked your appointment on-line you can cancel it on-line 24 hours before your appointment, after that you need to contact the spa.
If you are paying with a Gift Certificate and you fail to show up for your appointment we will use the balance of the gift certificate for payment of the service.
If you have a history of not showing up for appointments the Sunflower Spa may ask for a credit card to book the appointment or to pre-pay for the entire appointment.
May I request a male or female Spa Therapist?
At the time all of our Spa Therapist are female.
May I bring my child to The Spa?
Services for guests 13-17 years old are available. For children under the age of 15 will be limited to 30 minute appointment only, due to their tension span. Teenagers 15-17 are able to do 30-60 minute appointments. All children will need a parent present, if that is not possible we will require adult consent before we perform any spa services.
Should I tell anyone about any physical, medical or allergy concerns?
Upon arrival to The Spa, you will complete a brief health history questionnaire to assist the Spa Technicians in providing you the best possible experience and to assure your maximum safety and comfort. We encourage you to disclose any pertinent health conditions that may affect your spa experience.
What if I am pregnant?
The Sunflower Spa does offer pregnancy massage after the first tri-mester of your pregnancy. For the safety of you and your baby, we will not perform a massage during your first tri-mester of pregnancy. Please make sure that you receive authorization from your Doctor before receiving a massage. Spa services marked with an asterisk (*) are not recommended for guests who are pregnant.

What if I have a large group who all want to have services at the same time?
If you have more than three people that you want to book at the same time, then we consider that a Spa Party. The Sunflower Spa is the only place in the valley that accommodates groups as large as 12 people. Please contact our Spa Party Coordinator if you are interested. This a great idea for birthdays, weddings , holidays or girls night out.
May I use my cell phone while in The Spa?
So that an atmosphere of relaxation can be maintained and as a courtesy to other guests in The Spa, we ask that all cell phones and pagers be turned off and not used while in The Spa.
What should I do with my jewelry and other valuables?
Please leave your jewelry and other valuables at home .
I would like to purchase a gift. What do you suggest?
Spa Gift Cards are available to purchase for any special occasion – anniversaries, birthdays, holidays, or thank-you gifts. Gift cards can be purchased in person, by telephone, or online.
Where to Lunch?
We can provide lunch for you to eat at the Spa, please let your spa concierge know when you arrive. If you are not eating at the spa we recommend the following choices in the area:
Where do I park?
A parking lot is provide East of the building next to the brown garages. Street parking is also available. Overflow parking is available across the street at the “Between the Locks” parking lot.
